Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur sikri city was settled by Mughal Emperor in the 16th century. This was his new capital.It was abandoned by Akbar when he went to fight a campaign in Punjab. Akbar built three palaces here, one for each of his wives- one a Hindu, one a Muslim, one a Christian.
