Amritsar is the spiritual and cultural centre of the Sikh religion.The iconic city of Amritsar is the home of the glorious Golden Temple. This place is also famous for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It is one of the most agriculturally productive cities of India. The Wagah Border lies about 28km from the city. The famous Retreat Ceremony or the “Lowering of the Flags” starts everyday before sunset. Hall Bazar is the best spot for shopping Phulkari suits and Punjabi juttis.

Chandigarh

Chandigarh, the capital of both Punjab as well as Haryana, and its dream city of India's first Prime Minister, Sh. Jawahar Lal Nehru. It is an ideal definition of city.
