Vaishno Devi

“JAI MATA DI” this is the echo you hear on the trip to Vaishno Devi.Temple is located in Katra at the Trikuta mountain. Pilgrims walk 13 km uphill to reach the cave where the three rocks which represents the three Goddesses of Hindu religion i.e. Maa Mahalaxmi, Maa Mahakali and Maa Mahasaraswati has been worshipped. Pilgrims who visit this place says that here they get what they prayed for. The “Yatra” starts from Ban Ganga and completes at Bhairon Mandir. It is also said that if you don’t visit Bairon Mandir your Yatra will be incomplete.

Srinagar

It is situated on the banks of the Jhelum River. Srinagar is known for the stationary houseboats and colourful Shikaras in Dal Lake. Dotted with scenic hills and mountains , fascinating lakes and colourful gardens, charismatic fountains and warm hearted locals, Srinagar is also known for its rich history, diverse cultures, handicrafts, dry fruit production and lot more. Pahalgam

Pahalgam is a tourist town in Anantnag district of Jammu & kashmir. It is located on the banks of Lidder River. Pahalgam is a feast for the eyes and senses with untouched and gorgeous natural beauty. Pahalgam is a part of Asia’s only saffron growing area. One can see the saffron plants in full bloom in the month of november. The Lidder River is popular among travellers interested in angling. Stretches of this river are suitable for trout fishing. Hiking and trekking are also available in Pahalgam. Some famous places to visit in Pahalgam are Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, Kolahoi Glacier, Mamleshwar Temple, Sheshnag Lake etc.

Amarnath

Amarnath is one of the most important pilgrimages in Jammu & Kashmir.The destination is visited by millions of tourists every year from all across the World in the month of July & August. The Amarnath cave has an image of ice called the Shiva Lingam formed naturally. There are two routes to the holy Amarnath cave. The routes are as follows: Route (1) Srinagar-Pahalgam-Chandanwari-Pissu Top-Sheshnag-Panchtarni-Amarnath Route (2) Srinagar-Sonmarg-Baltal-Domain-Barari-Amarnath According to a Hindu religious beliefs, this is the place where Shiva explains the secret of life and eternity to the Goddess Parvati.

Gulmarg

Gulmarg is town, situated in the Pir Panjal Range in the western Himalayas. The original name of the town was Gauri Marg which means “the path of Devi Gauri”, it was renamed to Gulmarg. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains, meadows of flowers, Gulmarg also has the World’s second highest Gondola ride. It is a popular skiing destination in India. Gulmarg has been a popular destination for shooting of various Bollywood films. Maharani Temple is situated in Gulmarg. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati. This temple is visible through all corners of Gulmarg. Some famous places to visit in Gulmarg are Khilanmarg, Alpather Lake, Ziarat of Baba Reshi, St. Mary Church etc.

Sonamarg

Sonmarg, which means “Meadows of Gold” is a hill station in Ganderbal district in the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. It is nearly 80 km away from Srinagar. Patnitop

Patnitop is a hilltop tourist location in Udhampur district in Jammu & Kashmir. The river Chenab flows in close proximity to this location.
